Ugo A. Perego, PhD, MSc

Dr. Ugo Perego, a population geneticist, was a Senior Researcher and Director of Operations at the Sorenson Molecular Genealogy Foundation (SMFG). This work became one of the reference databases for the autosomal DNA test offered by Ancestry.com. He is the President of the Genetic Genealogy Consultant, a Visiting Scientist with the Biology and Biotechnology Department at the University of Pavia, Italy, and a biology instructor at the Southeastern Community College in Iowa.
