Interviewing relatives is always recommended as a good place to start, presuming you know who they are and that they are still alive. But if more than one person is alive, even if they had one or both of the same parents, their input should not be ignored. Siblings experience, perceive, and learn about the family in different ways. This can be applied to the interviewer’s own siblings as well.
