Digging for Ancestors at the Bureau of Land Management
The Bureau of Land Management website is a goldmine of information for your ancestors who settled the public land states. It can point you to their prior locations, help identify neighbors, and much more. It also provides the information needed to order your ancestor's land entry case file (the paperwork they filled out to obtain their land). Take a tour of the website to learn about your ancestors.
